Our Story
One of the more memorable early photos my Father took of me was one where I was sitting on a bright yellow linoleum kitchen countertop, that he made himself, shirtless in my diaper, stirring a bowl of pancake mix. I was One year old. The photograph required my Dad no set-up or grooming; it was an organic capture of a simple observation. He had the good fortune to have his Pentax 35mm camera somewhere close by.
When Nova was in his first days, I thought about the conversations I had with other Parents. The ones where they told me everything in the beginning was a blur. I began leaving cameras all over our apartment. I wanted to make sure that if it was, in fact, all a blur in the beginning, that I would be able to capture the moments that occurred during our daily routine. Not only the milestones, but the moments, both happy, and sad, as well as everything in between. I captured his first time looking into a mirror, biting into an apple, kissing his Mother, and crying as he teethed.
This is how Just Another Tuesday was born. Invite me into your routine; I will be a fly-on-the-wall, and capture your special moments to share and cherish.
